SportsEinstein Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Intheknow Systems Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Nigeria, collects and uses personal data when you use SportsEinstein: the website at sportseinsteinlab.com, the app at app.sportseinsteinlab.com and the SportsEinstein Telegram bot (together, the "Service").
We are the data controller for the personal data described here. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 ("NDPA") and other applicable laws.
1. The data we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares (name, email and profile picture).
- Telegram details: if you use the Telegram bot, your Telegram user ID, username and display name.
- Content you submit: booking codes, tickets, questions and messages you send to SportsEinstein, including to its AI assistant.
- Support messages: anything you send us when you contact support.
Information created when you use the Service
- Conversion and ticket history: the booking codes you converted, the results, and the codes we created.
- Usage and plan data: which features you used, your plan, and your usage against allowances.
- Payment records: the plan bought, amount, date and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser or device type, and logs of requests and errors, used to run and secure the Service.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your bookmaker login details or passwords.
2. How we use your data, and our lawful basis

We do not sell your personal data.
3. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for their job:
- Hosting: Hostinger, which hosts our servers and database.
- AI providers: currently Anthropic, and other AI providers we may add, to generate answers to your questions. We choose providers that do not use our API data to train their models.
- Email: Brevo, to send account and verification emails.
- Sign-in: Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Messaging: Telegram, if you use the SportsEinstein bot.
- Payments: Paystack, and other payment providers we may add, to process payments.
Bookmakers. To convert a booking code, we read it from the source bookmaker and create a new code on the destination bookmaker. We send bookmakers only the betting selections needed for this, not your name, email or other account details.
Sports data. Our sports data providers supply match information to us. We do not send them your personal data.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data).
4. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States and the European Union (for example, our servers are hosted in the United States). When we transfer personal data outside Nigeria, we do so in line with the NDPA, relying on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections with our providers.
5. How long we keep data
- Account data: for as long as your account is open, and deleted or anonymised within 90 days after you close it.
- Conversion and ticket history: up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised.
- AI conversation content: up to 90 days, unless you save it in your account.
- Payment and financial records: as long as required by Nigerian tax and accounting law.
- Technical logs: up to 90 days.
6. How we protect your data
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, private networking between our systems, and limited staff access. No system is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as required by law.
7. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
To use any of these rights, email support@sportseinsteinlab.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within the time required by law.
8. Age limit
SportsEinstein is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, let you know through the Service.
